I’m a UI/UX hacker and angel investor. Director/founder of TREND.NU, a fashion commerce platform.

I love music, liberal arts and if possible travel around the world while working. I’m also a drummer and have my own music studio.

I think it’s fair to say 2010 was the most significant year so far for me. It came to be an inflection year, where a sort of new beginning occurs and another definitely went away.

From a cosmology perspective, we can say now that everything could be seen as written down somehow for the way everything came to fit so well.

As for me, the most significant events and learnings of the year were:

  • Starting on 1th January almost at 0:00 time I met my partner who became an inseparable friend since then.
  • 2 months of intense learning about fundamentals of branding, universal laws of design and minimalism. From Marty Neumeier to Bauhaus.
  • Total abstraction of the mind from the most south located city of the world. Near 10.000km driving by car. Ancient philosophies included: Stoicism, Seneca, Marco Aurelius.
  • Learned value-investment. AAPL was obviously the choice in 2010.
  • 3 months of intense Europe traveling. Best europe trip i did so far. One month in Mitte in Berlin gave me another perspective of life. A lot of great people i met… I can’t write here everything I lived.
  • Spend some good europe summer time: went to some Italy islands.
  • Visiting the Pyramids of Egypt and Abu Simbel, first trip to Africa.
  • Learn Ruby on Rails 3.0
  • Discovered Agile Software Craftsmanship, BDD, Cucumber and RSpec. 3 months of intense learning.
  • As planned, for the end of the year and the welcoming of the new one, a house in front of a lake to spent the summer.

What I learned so far is that a year, and most specifically the coherent successions and persue of objectives and events is exponential to life’s results and expectations. If there’s a consistent and coherent connection of your acts and discoveries as you go, life is definitly more enjoyable and complete and most importantly you get better experienced for a brand new year.
